Punjab Traffic Police has ordered a province wide crackdown against traffic violations, directing officials to ensure strict enforcement of traffic laws across all districts.

According to an official directive issued by SSP Headquarters Syed Nadeem Abbas, all Chief Traffic Officers (CTOs) and District Traffic Officers (DTOs) have been instructed to ensure 100 percent implementation of traffic regulations.

  • Same news again and again but no implementation beside no traffic warden at MM Aslam Road Where every motorcycle and rickshaw do a wrong way violation

  • Only money making issues are addressed i.e. seat belts and helmets.
The real issues snever addressed which are causes of accidents. Wrong side driving, No headlights/backlights on motorcycles and rickshaws. No lights on qingqi richkshaw. Rash driving etc. These are more important to address. But the dumb officials both from govt and traffic police, only address those useless issues which are just for the sake of money making only with less physical effort and have NO impact in avoiding accidents. Seat belt and helmet never meant for avoiding accidents which is prime important thing. Accidents involve multiple lives and nit just the driver Taking lives of ither people in accidents is the prime issue to address.
But sadly, here in this country impotance always given to money making only.
Important question is why there is a huge squad of corrupt wardens is existing, if they cannot control traffic??. Belt and helmet challans can be done by cameras.
Warden squads just stood on target points looting people by useless challans or by spending time on mobile phones or in doing protocol duties.

  • Nothing do rules follow by a common person because department not following the rules and regulations going on the way without helmet

  • Begharto or kitna awaam ka khoon chosna , awaam pessy jma karny ka iklota zreya nhi or b hein

  • Trolys with 6/8 ft wide stuff loaded are just 100 rs per crossing...never stopped any where 😡

  • I think it's just a attention getting gimmic. There have been traffic rules and laws in place, but under pressure the govt relaxes the implementation and fines which in turn increase traffic rule violations by public. No country in the world softens / shows liverage on traffic rules as it not only put one's own life in danger but others also. I never understood why people cryout on fines. simply "Don't break the rules, follow traffic laws and no one can fine you". But Pakistanis are amazing, we wana break rules, carryout traffic violations, put our and others lives in danger but don't wana pay fines. I request the fines / traffic rules violations amount be doubled, especially on Helmet, Seat belt, traffic lights and especially use of mobile phones during traffic. people are so stupid that they wana see mobile while talking during driving as person is getting out of their mobile and not looking at traffic thus ending up hitting others. plz plz plz....use of mobile during driving (especially by bikers) is the biggest reason for accidents. it should have atleast Rs 10,000 fine and I'm pounding of vehicle for minimum 10 days. it's not cruel...cruelty is when you kill someone's dear one by your stupid mistake....
