Alongside the increase, the ECC also approved a Technical Supplementary Grant (TSG) of Rs. 578.838 million to cover expenditures up to June 30, 2026. The adjustment aims to provide better financial relief to registered Kashmir refugees amid rising living costs.

The committee directed the Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan to include future funding requirements in the upcoming budget cycle to ensure continuity of support.
