Apple is reportedly testing iPhone 19 Pro and iPhone 19 Pro Max prototypes with quad curved displays.
The claim comes from Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo. The leak suggests that Apple’s 2027 Pro iPhone models could use screens that curve on all four sides.
Earlier rumors in April also claimed that Apple’s 2027 Pro series could use quad curved display panels.
The move would be notable because many Chinese Android phone makers previously used curved and quad curved screens before shifting toward flatter designs, a trend often associated with Apple’s influence.
If Apple adopts quad curved screens in 2027, Android flagship makers may also return to similar display designs in late 2027 and 2028.
Apple will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the original iPhone in 2027. The first iPhone was announced in January 2007 and went on sale in June of the same year.
Because of the anniversary, Apple may change its naming strategy for the 2027 lineup. That means the iPhone 19 Pro and iPhone 19 Pro Max could launch under different names.
However, no final naming decision has been leaked yet.
