The Pakistan Hockey Federation has announced a 20-member national squad for the upcoming FIH Pro League matches in Belgium and England.
According to the Pakistan Sports Board, the squad was picked on the recommendations of the National Selection Committee after trials held from May 19 to 20.
The selection process was also reviewed by the PHF Professional Development Committee, headed by Olympians Islahuddin Siddiqui and Hassan Sardar.

The federation said the reserve list for the tour will be announced separately.
The PHF also said the government had extended administrative, financial and logistical support to the national side on the direction of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Under the support package, players will receive a daily allowance of $110 in advance, while accommodation and logistics for the tour have already been finalized.
The federation added that Pakistan’s missions in England and Belgium had also been directed to facilitate the team during the visit.
Officials said the FIH Pro League matches would give players valuable international exposure and help the side prepare for the upcoming Hockey World Cup.
