The Punjab government has officially announced public holidays across the province on the occasion of Eid ul Azha.
According to a notification issued by the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD), public holidays will be observed across Punjab from May 26 to May 28.
The notification stated that the holidays will fall on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in connection with Eid ul Azha celebrations.
The provincial government directed that the notification be published in major English and Urdu newspapers at both national and regional levels and also be given wide publicity through electronic media.
The order was issued by the Welfare Wing of the Services and General Administration Department and applies across the province.
