Saudi Arabia to Train 200 Federal Constabulary Personnel from Pakistan

Saudi Arabia will provide professional training to 200 personnel from Pakistan’s Federal Constabulary Special Diplomatic Protection Unit under a new security cooperation initiative announced by the interior ministry.

The decision was made during a meeting between Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and his Saudi counterpart Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Saud in Mina during the Eid al-Adha period.

According to the ministry, both ministers exchanged Eid greetings, while the Saudi minister congratulated Mohsin Naqvi on performing Hajj.

The meeting included detailed discussions on bilateral relations, internal security cooperation, and the regional situation. Officials said the Saudi minister appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in easing regional tensions.

The interior ministry stated that the training programme for Federal Constabulary personnel would strengthen diplomatic security capabilities and further enhance cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
