4 Days of Heavy Rainfall and Hailstorm Predicted for Several Cities in Pakistan

According to the Met office, a westerly wave is likely to approach upper parts of the country on 2nd June and likely to persist till 5th June.

Under the influence of this weather system.

Punjab/Islamabad: Scattered dust/thunderstorm-rain (with few heavyfalls and hailstorm) is expected in Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Murree, Galliyat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Wazirabad, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Narowal, Sahiwal, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Nankana Sahib, Chiniot, Faisalabad, Okara, Kasur, Khushab, Sargodha, Bhakkar, Mianwali, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, D.G. Khan, Multan, Khanewal, Lodhran, Muzaffargarh, Rajanpur, Rahimyar Khan, and Layyah from 2nd to 5th June with occasional gaps.

Kashmir/Gilgit-Baltistan: Scattered Rain wind/thunderstorm (with few heavyfalls and hailstorm) is expected in Kashmir Neelum valley, Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot, Poonch, Hattian, Bagh, Haveli, Sudhanoti, Kotli, Bhimber, and Mirpur from 2nd to 5th June with occasional gaps. Rain wind/thunderstorm is expected in Gilgit-Baltistan, Diamir, Astore, Ghizer, Skardu, Hunza, Gilgit, Ghanche, and Shigar from 4th to 6th June with occasional gaps.

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa: Scattered Rain wind/thunderstorm (with few heavyfalls and hailstorm) is expected in Dir, Chitral, Swat, Kohistan, Malakand, Bajaur, Shangla, Battagram, Buner, Kohat, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Waziristan, Orakzai, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Peshawar, Mardan, Hangu, and Kurram from 2nd to 5th June with occasional gaps.

Balochistan: Dust/thunderstorm-rain is expected in Northeastern parts of Quetta, Zhob, Sherani, Ziarat, Chaman, Qila Abdullah, Qillah Saifullah, Barkhan, and Dera Bugti from 2nd to 4th June.

Sindh: Dust/thunderstorm-rain is expected in upper Sindh including Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad, Khairpur, Dadu, Ghotki, Kashmore, Shikarpur, and Shaheed Benazirabad on 2nd to 4th June.
