The Balochistan government has launched a personalized vehicle registration number plate scheme under the special directive of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, allowing vehicle owners to obtain customized registration numbers.
Under the new initiative, applicants can select personalized number plates featuring their names, initials, or preferred combinations of letters and numbers.
The scheme offers two categories. The Platinum category includes premium personalized registration numbers available for Rs5 million, while the Corporate category is designed for businesses and organizations, with fees ranging from Rs500,000 to Rs1 million.
Examples showcased in promotional materials include plates such as “KAKAR 1”, “SIBI 1”, and “LEHRI 1”, highlighting the customization options available under the program.
Officials said the scheme is open to all vehicle owners in Balochistan and aims to provide exclusive registration options while generating additional revenue for the provincial government.
Applications can be submitted online through the provincial excise department, and the registration process will remain open until 30 June 2026.
The initiative is part of broader efforts to modernize vehicle registration systems and enhance administrative efficiency in the province.
