The Ministry of Finance and Revenue will release the Pakistan Economic Survey 2025–26 on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, a key pre-budget launch that will provide a detailed assessment of the country’s economic performance during the outgoing fiscal year.
Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, will present the survey, which is expected to outline major macroeconomic indicators, sectoral performance, and fiscal trends ahead of the upcoming federal budget.
The survey will serve as the official economic review document and is traditionally considered a key reference point for budget formulation and policy direction.
Federal Budget FY27 to Follow on June 10
Following the release of the Economic Survey, the Federal Budget for FY2026–27 will be presented in the National Assembly on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, by the Finance Minister.
The budget will outline the government’s fiscal priorities, expenditure plans, revenue measures, and policy direction for the upcoming financial year, covering key areas such as taxation, development spending, and economic reforms.
The budget will be framed in line with prevailing economic conditions and the findings presented in the Economic Survey.
