The Higher Education Commission has opened applications for the Kuwait University Language Teaching Center Scholarship 2026–27.
The program allows Pakistani and AJK students to study Arabic at Kuwait University. It is a fully funded opportunity offered through HEC under its Learning Opportunities Abroad program.
The scholarship is designed for students who want to improve their Arabic language skills in an academic environment. Selected candidates will study at the Language Teaching Center of Kuwait University.
HEC has advised interested students to apply before the deadline. The last date to submit the online application is June 12, 2026.
Applicants must be Pakistani or AJK nationals. They must also be permanent residents of Pakistan or AJK.
Dual nationality holders are not eligible to apply.
Candidates must be between 18 and 25 years of age at the time of application.
Applicants must have completed HSSC or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
They must also be medically fit for overseas study. In addition, selected candidates must follow the academic and residential rules of Kuwait University.
HEC will shortlist applicants on merit. The ranking will be based on marks obtained in HSSC, FA, FSc, or an equivalent qualification.

Pakistan has been allocated two scholarship seats. One seat is for a male candidate, while the other is for a female candidate.

HEC may reject applications that contain incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information.
Applicants should prepare their academic and personal documents before starting the online application.
These may include CNIC or B-form, domicile details, passport information, recent photograph, HSSC or equivalent certificate, marks sheet, and other academic records.
Candidates should also keep medical fitness documents ready if required at a later stage.
