A new initiative has been launched to equip young people with market-relevant skills and improve employment opportunities through a free vocational training program focused on the livestock and allied industries.
The program is being implemented through a partnership between the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission and the Livestock Exporters Association of Pakistan, with support and guidance from the Special Investment Facilitation Council and the Prime Minister’s Youth Program.
Under the initiative, participants will undergo three months of free training in high-demand livestock-related skills, including fish farming and other specialized trades.
The program aims to provide practical, industry-oriented training to help participants secure better employment and income-generating opportunities.
The vocational training program includes the following courses:
Candidates aged between 18 and 40 years are eligible to apply. The minimum educational requirement is middle or matriculation level. Training will be conducted in Mardan and Peshawar.
Officials said that seats are limited and encouraged interested candidates to apply as early as possible. The last date for registration is June 16, 2026.
Applications can be submitted online through the official National Skills Information System (NSIS) portal.
Authorities said the initiative is part of broader government efforts to promote skill-based employment, enhance workforce development, and connect youth with sustainable income opportunities across Pakistan.
