The Punjab Education, Curriculum, Training and Assessment Authority (PECTAA) has announced the registration schedule for Grade 5 students appearing in the Annual Assessment 2026-27 across Punjab.
According to a notification issued by PECTAA, registration will be conducted through the Item Bank System (IBS). District Education Authorities (DEAs) have been directed to ensure that all public schools complete the registration process within the prescribed timeline using official school login credentials.
The registration process will begin on June 25, 2026 and continue until August 8, 2026. The authority has instructed school heads to ensure that students’ dates of birth entered in the online enrollment system match official records.
Any discrepancy in the date of birth will be the responsibility of the head of the institution. The notification states that requests for age correction will be processed in accordance with PECTAA rules and regulations.
Schools have also been directed to upload recent passport-size photographs of students with a white background and ensure accurate entry of all required information, including student name, father’s name, date of birth, B-Form number, subject combination, school details, parent or guardian contact number and proposed examination center details.
PECTAA further instructed district education authorities to issue necessary directions to school administrations to ensure the timely completion of registrations for the annual assessment.
