The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has warned the public against fraudulent individuals posing as attestation agents and offering document attestation services.
In a public advisory, the commission urged applicants not to share their personal or educational information with unauthorized individuals, emphasizing that HEC’s attestation process is entirely online and paperless.
HEC advised students, graduates and other applicants to process all attestation requests directly through its official online portal rather than relying on third parties.
The commission said it had received reports of individuals falsely claiming to provide attestation services on behalf of HEC and urged the public to use only official channels for all attestation-related matters.
Applicants seeking assistance have been directed to use HEC’s official e-services portal and online help desk for support. The commission also urged citizens to remain vigilant and protect their academic credentials from misuse.
