Gold prices staged another sharp increase in Pakistan on Saturday after international rates shot up during the session.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola in Pakistan increased by Rs. 4,370 to Rs. 444,336.
The price of 10 grams of gold also appreciated by Rs. 3,933 to settle at Rs. 379,880.
Gold lost Rs. 7,250 on Friday to settle at Rs. 439,880.
In the international market, gold prices jumped by $43 to settle at $4,219 per ounce.
Silver also appreciated in value on the same day. It gained Rs. 200 to settle at Rs. 7,279 per tola on Friday.
