Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has finalized preparations to launch direct flights between Lahore and Manchester and has revised the schedule for the new route.
According to the national carrier, a weekly flight between Lahore and Manchester will begin operating on July 2, 2026. Earlier, PIA had planned to launch the route with a Manchester-to-Lahore flight on July 3, but the schedule has now been updated to include the first Lahore-to-Manchester flight on July 2.
PIA has also announced fares for the route. The one-way Economy Class fare from Lahore to Manchester has been set at approximately Rs. 155,000, while a one-way Economy Plus ticket will cost up to Rs. 270,000.
For round-trip travel, Economy Class fares have been set at up to Rs. 350,000, while Economy Plus passengers will pay up to Rs. 525,000.
The airline said Boeing 777 aircraft will be deployed on the route, providing passengers with a direct travel option between the two cities.
PIA officials said the restoration of direct flights between Lahore and Manchester will particularly benefit the large Pakistani community living in the United Kingdom by offering greater convenience and improved connectivity.
