Google Vids Now Creates Longer, Multiple AI Videos With Latest Update

Google has rolled out a major update to Google Vids, adding new AI-powered video creation features driven by its Veo model that allow users to generate multiple video clips simultaneously and extend existing clips with greater visual consistency.

The update removes one of Google Vids’ biggest limitations by letting users submit several video generation prompts at the same time instead of waiting for each clip to finish before starting another.

The feature is designed to speed up content creation by making it easier to compare different styles and concepts in parallel.

Google has also introduced AI-powered video extension. Using Veo, users can lengthen existing clips while maintaining consistent characters, motion and scene continuity, resulting in smoother transitions across longer videos.

The new capabilities are available directly within the Google Vids web app and do not require any administrator configuration.

Google said the rollout is underway for both Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains and is expanding to Business Starter, Business Standard, Business Plus, Enterprise customers, Education Plus users, Teaching and Learning customers, nonprofit organizations, personal Google accounts, and subscribers to Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra.

Users with the AI Expanded Access add-on will receive higher priority limits for parallel video generation, allowing them to process more AI video requests at the same time.

Google Vids was introduced as an AI-powered workspace tool for creating presentations and business videos from text prompts.

With the latest Veo integration, the platform now supports faster video production and longer AI-generated clips, making it more suitable for marketing, training and professional content creation.
