The Pakistani rupee (PKR) closed in green against the US Dollar (USD) for the 187th consecutive day on Monday.
The PKR closed at 278.17 after gaining three paisas against the US Dollar today.
PKR started the week in green after news that the US and Iran will meet for more discussions later this week to discuss the war.
Meanwhile, the PKR has maintained its slow but upward trajectory against the greenback for 6 months and 4 days. Essentially, the rupee has consistently reported gains against the dollar since December 25, 2025.
PKR was stable against the UAE Dirham (AED) and gained five paisas against the Saudi Riyal (SAR).

Meanwhile, it lost 68 paisas against the British Pound (GBP) and Rs. 1.38 against the Euro (EUR).
It gained 11 paisas against the Australian Dollar (AUD) but lost 52 paisas against the Canadian Dollar (CAD).
