Gold prices staged another sharp recovery in Pakistan on Friday in line with international rates which also recorded a big increase during the 5th session of the week.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola in Pakistan increased by Rs. 12,200 to Rs. 440,936.
The price of 10 grams of gold also rose by Rs. 10,459 to settle at Rs. 378,031.
Gold prices recovered by Rs. 9,100 to close at Rs. 428,736 per tola on Thursday.
In the international market, gold prices gained $122 to settle at $4,185 per ounce.
Silver also increased in value on the same day. It gained Rs. 319 to settle at Rs. 6,764 per tola on Friday.
