The Punjab government has opened applications for the CM Punjab Climate Leadership Development Internship Program Phase-II Batch-II, giving young graduates a paid opportunity to gain practical experience in climate action and environmental governance.
According to the announcement, selected interns will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 60,000 for a period of three months. The program is being run under the Environment Protection & Climate Change Department Punjab, and aims to train young “Climate Warriors” through field learning, policy exposure, and practical assignments.
Interested candidates can apply online through the official portal until 18 July 2026. Applicants are advised to complete their registration before the deadline, as late applications will not be entertained.
The internship will provide district-wise learning opportunities, access to a Learning Management System (LMS), exposure in EPA field offices, work with climate policy and communication units, capstone projects, UNFCCC-related certification, and expert mentorship.
A major feature of the program is that 50% of seats are reserved for female students, making it an important opportunity for young women who want to build experience in climate leadership and public sector work.
Applicants must be between 20 and 27 years of age at the time of application. They must have at least a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 75% marks or 3.0/4.0 CGPA.
The program is open to graduates from different academic backgrounds, including environmental sciences, engineering, business, computer science, GIS, social sciences, public policy, economics, media studies, journalism, law, and related fields.
Interested candidates can apply online through the official EPA Punjab Climate Internship portal.
Applicants have to create an account, complete their personal and academic profile, upload the required documents, and submit the application before the deadline. Required documents generally include CNIC, domicile, degrees, certificates, and transcripts.
