The incident comes amid continuing concern over tourist safety in the region, especially after a recent deadly boating accident in Swat.

Authorities said the search operation for a girl who went missing in the boat accident five days ago remained underway on Sunday.

The earlier incident took place at Saifullah Lake in Kalam, where a tourist boat capsized, leaving six people dead. Two people were rescued alive.

Officials said all nine passengers on the boat belonged to the same family from Lahore.

The latest case at Nasrullah Lake has once again raised questions about safety violations by tourists visiting scenic spots in northern areas, particularly at a time when authorities are still dealing with the aftermath of the recent lake tragedy.
