Gold prices posted a sharp increase in Pakistan on Monday, while international rates also recorded a similar jump to start the new week.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola in Pakistan increased by Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 431,736.
The price of 10 grams of gold also rose by Rs. 3,430 to settle at Rs. 370,144.
Gold prices gained Rs. 300 to close at Rs. 427,736 per tola on Saturday.
In the international market, gold prices gained $40 to settle at $4,093 per ounce.
Silver prices increased by Rs. 100 to settle at Rs. 6,397 per tola on Monday.
