Rawalpindi Announces 1,562 Jobs for Anti-Dengue Program

The District Health Authority Rawalpindi has announced temporary jobs for the Anti-Dengue Program, inviting applications for field staff and technical posts across the district.

According to the advertisement, a total of 1,562 vacancies have been announced on a contingent paid/daily-wage basis for a period of up to 89 days. The hiring includes 62 Entomologist posts and 1,500 Sanitary Patrol posts for anti-dengue surveillance and field activities.

The largest number of vacancies has been announced for Sanitary Patrol staff, with 450 seats for male candidates and 1,050 seats for female candidates. These positions have been divided across different towns, tehsils, union councils, wards, and cantonment areas of Rawalpindi district.

Sanitary Patrol Vacancies

The Sanitary Patrol posts will be filled according to the area-wise distribution mentioned in the official advertisement. These workers will support dengue prevention activities, including field visits, larvae surveillance, reporting, and other duties assigned under the anti-dengue campaign.

Candidates applying for Sanitary Patrol posts should be physically fit and available for field duty. The advertisement also mentions the use of an Android mobile phone, as field reporting may be carried out through a digital system.

Entomologist Vacancies

The department has also announced 62 Entomologist posts. Candidates applying for these posts must meet the qualification and experience requirements mentioned in the advertisement.

Applicants with relevant education and experience in public health, dengue surveillance, vector control, or related fieldwork will be considered according to the recruitment criteria.

Applicants must attach copies of their CNIC, domicile, educational certificates, experience certificates where required, and recent passport-size photographs with the application form.

Candidates should also bring their original documents at the time of interview for verification. Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date will not be considered.
