CMF Phone 2 Pro Suddenly Disappears from Islamabad Before Nothing Phone 4b Launch

CMF Phone 2 Pro, the latest handset in Nothing’s budget sub-brand, has suddenly disappeared from Islamabad’s local smartphone market, as confirmed by ProPakistani.

The news comes soon after Nothing Phone 4b’s international launch in Europe and India. The new budget phone is expected to launch in other markets, including Pakistan, soon.

Sources available to ProPakistani have confirmed that CMF Phone 2 Pro has suddenly been taken off the shelves. It is either incredibly hard to find, or completely missing from local shops in Islamabad.

There is no official word as to why the phones have suddenly been removed, but the timing is highly suspicious since the Nothing Phone 4b is expected to arrive soon.

Nothing Phone 4b

Since Phone 4b is part of a new, cheaper lineup of Nothing phones, there is a chance that it would conflict with CMF Phone 2 Pro’s sales. This is because the Nothing Phone 4b is speculated to arrive at a price tag close to the CMF Phone: somewhere between Rs. 100,000 and Rs. 130,000.

Meanwhile, the CMF Phone 2 Pro’s local pricing varies between Rs. 94,000 and Rs. 99,000.

CMF Phone 2 Pro, being the cheaper device, may appear more attractive to customers since it is also a solid device from Nothing, hence potentially canibalizing sales for the upcoming Phone 4b.

However, keep in mind that there is no official word from Nothing or its distributors in Pakistan, including YellowStone Technologies. The real reason behind the phone’s disappearance may be different, so take this speculation with a grain of salt.

There is no official word on Nothing Phone 4b’s Pakistan launch as of yet, either.
