The Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI) has introduced new graduate assistantships for students enrolled in MS and PhD programs.
The scheme aims to support talented researchers by offering financial assistance and academic benefits across multiple disciplines.
Under the program, PhD scholars can receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 158,000, while MS students can get Rs. 88,000 per month.
GIKI also offers free tuition fees and free hostel accommodation to selected students. The assistantships are available across all MS and PhD programs at the institute.
GIKI says it will automatically consider all submitted and in-progress applications for the newly introduced assistantship scheme. The application deadline is July 31, 2026.
The graduate degree programs include Artificial Intelligence, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Engineering Management, Engineering Sciences, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Nanotechnology and Materials Engineering.
