The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has warned students and parents against taking admission to “Muslim University (P) Institute of Education & Health Sciences” in Hafizabad, Punjab, after declaring it illegal and unrecognized.
According to HEC, the institute is located behind Finca Bank on Gujranwala Road, Hafizabad, and is not legally chartered as a degree-awarding institution in Pakistan.
The commission said the institute is not authorized to offer or award any degree, diploma, certificate, or academic qualification. HEC clarified that any credential issued by the institute will not be recognized, attested, or verified.
Students have been strongly advised against enrolling in the institute, as admission could seriously affect their academic future, career prospects, and financial investment.
HEC also reminded the public that any university, institution, or campus not listed on its official list of recognized institutions will be treated as non-recognized.
Parents and students have been urged to verify the legal status, approval, and registration of any private or public institution through HEC’s official website before taking admission.
