The Capital Development Authority is set to introduce separate uniforms for its Enforcement Directorate personnel in an effort to enhance professionalism, discipline, and the identification of officials during anti-encroachment operations. The initiative is aimed at ensuring that enforcement teams are easily recognizable while carrying out field duties across the federal capital.
The decision has been taken under the directions of Deputy Director General Enforcement, Dr. Anum Fatima. According to sources, uniforms have initially been prepared for 150 personnel serving in different wings of the Enforcement Directorate.
The first phase of the initiative will cover field staff, inspectors, supervisors, and assistant directors. Separate uniforms have been designed for field personnel and enforcement officials to distinguish their respective roles while maintaining a unified and professional appearance within the directorate.
Officials said the introduction of uniforms will improve discipline within the Enforcement Directorate and strengthen the institutional identity of CDA personnel during operations against encroachments. The move is also expected to make it easier for the public to identify authorized enforcement officials while action is underway.
Sources further said the uniform policy forms part of broader efforts to modernize the Enforcement Directorate and enhance operational efficiency. By introducing a standardized dress code, the CDA aims to project a more professional image, improve coordination among enforcement teams, and reinforce public confidence during enforcement and anti-encroachment drives.
