JazzCash Enables Seamless Digital Payments at 450+ Shell Stations Nationwide

JazzCash has partnered with Wafi Energy Pakistan to enable faster and more convenient digital payments for customers across Shell Service Stations in Pakistan through JazzCash RAAST QR.

Nationwide, over 450+ Shell stations are enabled with JazzCash RAAST QR, allowing customers to pay for fuel in seconds through a secure and seamless digital payment experience. The deployment reflects the growing adoption of QR-based payments at fuel stations and supports Pakistan’s broader shift towards a more cashless retail ecosystem.

The partnership was marked at Wafi Energy Pakistan’s upgraded company-operated Shell station in Lahore. The upgraded site includes Shell Select, premium washrooms, EV charging, oil change services and other partner-led facilities designed to support everyday customer convenience.

Wafi Energy Pakistan’s CEO Zubair Shaikh, recognised JazzCash’s contribution to enabling digital payments across their Shell fuel station network. He also demonstrated the solution firsthand by paying for fuel using JazzCash QR at the event.

Representing JazzCash at the ceremony, Arif Mahmood Chaudhary, Head of Public Sector Partnerships, said the partnership with Wafi Energy reflects JazzCash’s commitment to expanding digital payment acceptance across everyday use cases and making transactions convenient for customers nationwide. He added that enabling QR payments at fuel stations is an important step towards accelerating financial inclusion and supporting Pakistan’s transition to a cashless economy.

Looking ahead, both organisations plan to build on this momentum by introducing new digital use cases and enhancing the overall payment experience across Wafi Energy’s Shell fuel station network. The collaboration reflects a shared focus on innovation and delivering practical, customer-centric solutions that align with evolving consumer needs in Pakistan’s retail and mobility landscape.
