Sindh to Digitalize School Admissions

The Sindh government has decided to digitize the entire admission system across its public schools, introducing a unique digital identity for every student linked to their B-Form.

What the New System Will Do

Under the plan, a modern digital record system will be established in collaboration with NADRA. Each student will receive a unique digital identity, and their admission, attendance, and examination records will be stored in a single unified profile.

The system is designed to eliminate fake and duplicate admissions. It will also allow authorities to easily track students who transfer to another school or drop out of the education system altogether.

Rollout Already Underway

Digital admission registration has already begun in 600 schools across Sindh. Officials say the system will be expanded in phases to cover all government and government-assisted schools in the province.

What the Minister Said

Sindh’s Provincial Education Minister stated that the use of technology will increase transparency, reduce human intervention, and make educational planning more effective.

NADRA has assured the Sindh government of its full technical support to complete the project.
