AIOU Issues New Rules for Pre-Medical and Pre-Engineering Students

Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has issued new admission rules for students applying to HSSC Pre-Medical and Pre-Engineering programs under Autumn 2026 admissions.

According to the university, only students who have passed Matric with Science subjects can apply for these programs. Applicants must have passed all compulsory and elective subjects in Matric.

AIOU has clarified that students with an F grade in any compulsory or elective subject will not be eligible for admission in Pre-Medical or Pre-Engineering.

Students applying for admission must attach an attested copy of their Matric Science certificate with the admission form. The university said a result card alone will not be accepted.

The university has also directed first-semester students to get their Matric Science certificate verified by IBCC and upload it to their CMS account. Students who do not complete this requirement may face problems in getting their final certificate later.
