Pakistan finished its group-stage campaign at the 2026 World Junior Squash Championships on a strong note, defeating Switzerland 3-0 in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada.
The victory secured Pakistan first place in Group 7 and confirmed its qualification for the knockout stage.
Nauman Khan gave Pakistan the lead by defeating Nick Greter 3-1 in a closely contested match that lasted 58 minutes. Khan won the opening two games 11-4 and 11-9 before Greter responded by taking the third game 17-15. Khan then regained control and won the fourth game 11-5 to complete the victory.
Abdullah Nawaz extended Pakistan’s advantage with a comfortable 3-0 win over Leandro Vogel. Nawaz dominated the match from the start and recorded an 11-3, 11-7, 11-5 victory in 26 minutes.
Muhammad Umair Arif completed the clean sweep by defeating Morris Frey in straight games. Arif needed only 23 minutes to secure an 11-6, 11-4, 11-2 victory.
With the 3-0 result, Pakistan ended the group stage at the top of Group 7 and advanced to the Top 16 of the tournament.
The Pakistani junior team will now play its knockout-stage match on Wednesday.
