Pakistan Army Wins International Pacesticking Competition in UK

The Pakistan Army team, represented by the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA), secured first place at the International Pacesticking Competition 2026 held at the Royal Military Academy (RMA) Sandhurst in the United Kingdom.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the PMA team won all major honors at the competition, including the overall team trophy, Best Pace Sticker and Best Driver awards.

The nine-member contingent was led by Major Haider Gulzar, Adjutant of PMA. A total of 16 teams from different countries participated in the annual competition.

The military’s media wing said the achievement reflected the professional training and standards maintained by the Pakistan Army.

The victory comes weeks after Pakistan Army cadet Sardar Arsam Abbas was named the overall best foreign military cadet at the Royal Military College (RMC) Duntroon in Canberra, Australia.

According to the ISPR, the award is presented to the highest-performing foreign military cadet across all areas of training and recognizes outstanding performance, professionalism and commitment.
