The federal government has increased Pakistan’s minimum monthly wage by 10 percent in Budget 2026–27, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb said in his budget speech a short while ago.
He said the increase is intended to support low-income workers amid rising living costs and improve purchasing power across the economy.
