One such bizarre food combination surfaced on the internet that has left everyone feeling disgusted. The video is of a man baking cake with mashed potato and gravy. Strange food combinations are the latest trend and so far we have seen a lot of them.

Usually, when we think about cakes, we envision something sweet and fluffy. Mostly, cakes are baked with all things sweet, be it strawberries, mangoes, chocolate, etc. But a cake made with mashed potatoes and gravy has stunned the food enthusiasts with its uniqueness.

Darius Williams is a food blogger who experiments with recipes and shares his experiences online. However, his new cake recipe created a rage among Twitter users. In the video, Williams shares the recipe for “Collard Green and Cornbread Cake”, which he makes using mashed potatoes and gravy. He bakes a normal sponge cake and covers the entire cake mount with mashed potatoes and tops it with fried chicken pieces like cherries on the cake. He then drizzles a spoonful of gravy on the cake and garnishes it with chopped coriander. While the video is quite old, it’s only going viral now, with most of the users expressing their frustration and disgust.

Sharing the video of Williams making the cake, a Twitter user said, “Y’all let this man become a social media ‘chef’ and look at what he is making… This is y’all fault,”. Another commented that “The FBI should’ve been at his door as soon as he posted this video”.
