Islamabad Eat 2022 was said to commence from today i.e 25th February. However, due to the unfortunate weather conditions, the first day of the Eat festival is canceled. The organizers of the festival made announcements on the official social media accounts. They also notified the people that the tickets bought for Friday will be valid on Saturday and Sunday.
“Dear Islamabad, due to the unfortunate weather conditions, all participants have jointly agreed not to open the festival today, Friday 25th February. The Islamabad Eat festival will now officially open on Saturday at 12 pm and continue till Sunday. We look forward to seeing you all on the 26th and 27th!” the festival organizers announced on their official Instagram and Facebook accounts today.
The first day of the three-day Islamabad Eat festival, which was to begin today (25th Feb) and continue till (27th Feb), is canceled as Islamabad continues to have isolated rainfall. This week in Islamabad has been relatively cold and cloudy. Different parts of Islamabad had isolated rainfalls throughout the week. The continued rainfall has forced the organizers to cancel today’s festivities altogether. However, the organizers assure the residents of Islamabad that the festivities on Saturday and Sunday will go according to the plan.
This may cause disappointment and disruption to anyone who was looking forward to going to the festival today.
