Friday: A food and music festival, Islamabad taste Plus, starts off today, 10th December. It is a Three-Day Festival, happening from 10th to 12th December at The Jinnah Convention Center. The platform showcases more than 60 food stalls offering a variety of eateries to visitors.
The event organizers of Taste Plus are Media sniffers. They have been operating successfully since 2012. The Official partners of the taste fest included; HUM Network as the official media partner and SUNO FM 89.4 as the Official Radio Media Partner.
Taste Plus is bringing the most delectable cuisines from various parts of the world. Featuring cuisines include Thai, Chinese, Arabic, Pakistani, and many more. Some of the famous restaurants to be a part of this event are Sage, Munchito, Jessie’s Burgers, Street Burgers S/B, Chalupas, and others. Bake Bees, Golden Crust, Boblo’s along with others will have their dessert stalls.
People from all walks of life are encouraged to be a part of this festival. Various Chief Guests and other dignitaries would visit the festival while popular singers like Atif Aslam, Akhtar Chanal, Mustafa Zahid, Abid Brohi, Edward Maya, Gul Khan, Waqar Ehsin, Ali Vocals, Mustafa Gilani, Umar Awan will be performing at the festival. Artist Lineup at Taste plus has got everyone excited for the festival.
Tickets for the festival were available beforehand at official ticket counters in Islamabad. The places included E-11/3, Blue Area, F-10 Markaz, and Gulberg Greens. Tickets for the festival are also available on the spot for PKR 2500/- per person.
Festivals like taste fest and taste plus are a source of promoting tourism in Pakistan. Such events contribute positively in producing a peaceful and progressive image of the country.
