Muslim Man Eats Burger King Meal Loaded With Bacon & Is Left Vomiting For Days

A Muslim man was left vomiting for days after he had a meal at Burger Kind loaded with bacon. Gundogdu Yuzudik, a citizen of Enfield, London says that he was left sick after he had a meal from Burger King. The customer says that he repeatedly told the staff that he did not want any bacon on his burger. Despite his instruction, the customer, after taking a bite, came to know that his burger contained loads and loads of bacon. The 22-year-old felt physically sick and could not recover for three days. Gundogdu Yuzudik said that being a Muslim, he avoided pork all his life. After taking the first bite of his burger, he knew that something was wrong. As a result, the Muslim man was feeling sick and was left vomiting for quite some time.

After removing the bun and realizing that the burger was filled with bacon, Gundogdu Yuzudik said that he could not eat anything for three days. Each time he’d tried to eat, he would feel like he was chewing bacon. Despite being physically hungry, Gundogdu Yuzudik could not eat anything without vomiting. The customer further said that he went back to register his complaint at the restaurant. However, the response that he got was not very satisfactory. To his shock, the restaurant administration just apologized and there was no other action taken.

After this incident, Gundogdu posted a video on TikTok where he showed his burger filled with bacon. He said that he found this “absolutely ridiculous”. In his video, he called out and tagged the Burger King authorities and expressed his disappointment. The customer complained that the restaurant should train their staff to follow the simple instructions given by the customers. Some people even claimed that the Burger King burgers are not halal anyway so bacon should not be an issue. However, many acknowledged and sympathized with Gundogdu saying that halal or not halal is not the main point here. The problem is a failure of following instructions.

Later on, a spokesperson for SSP apologized in a statement saying “We’re committed to providing passengers with a great experience at our restaurants, and we’re sorry to have fallen short on this occasion.” He also said “”In light of this incident, we will be retraining our team and making sure all customized orders are double checked before they are served to help ensure it doesn’t happen again. We have been in contact with the customer to apologize directly.”
