Twitter User Cuts Pizza With Scissors, Sparks Debate Online

A woman has sparked a debate on social media after revealing that she uses scissors to cut pizza. While some people use simple kitchen tools such as knives or wheel cutters to slice their pizzas. This woman, however, said that she uses scissors to slice her pizza. Even though some people called this act ‘barbaric’, there were those who were confused as to why people don’t always do the same.

Pizza is a dish that no one can resist and is probably loved by everyone. The heavenly combination of dough with pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings is a fascinating combination. Whether it’s a takeaway pizza or if you labored over a homemade pizza, cutting pizza does not always go smoothly. Believe it or not, cutting pizza the right way is a common debate among pizza lovers. While some say pizza cutters are the best, some say that knife does the job better. However, a woman on Twitter said that she usually uses scissors to cut pizza and thinks that this method is superior to any other method. This tweet proved to be surprisingly controversial on Twitter.

Twitter User, Abi Dickson tweeted, “Cutting pizza with scissors >>>”. The tweet garnered hundreds of likes and comments in a short span of time.

Many Twitter users openly disagreed with her and called her action ‘barbaric’. One user said, “Absolutely not.. roller cutter or tear with a finger but please no scissors.” Another wrote, “I literally don’t believe anyone does this.” A third user commented, “This is actual serial k*ller behavior.” Someone else commented: “You’re a menace to society if you do this.” 

While there were people who called her behavior strange, there were others who said that she wasn’t alone. Someone posted, “Everyone called me a weirdo, now look at you all.” A tweet read, “I did this for the first time 2 weeks ago and it’s changed my life.” Yet another user said, “If you know, you know.”

Pizza Scissors

If you are someone who didn’t know that pizza scissors actually existed, well you aren’t alone. So pizza scissors are basically similar to a normal pair of scissors, but with an angled handle. These are specially designed to cut pizza. In other words, these pizza scissors are an alternative to pizza wheel cutters and knives. The product is cleverly designed with a spatula base that slides under pizza so the blades of the scissors don’t scratch the non-stick pans. The sharp blades of the scissors make the task of cutting pizza easy.

Twitter users were, however, still skeptical about the existence of such tools. Someone posted, “Who does that? Isn’t that what a Pizza cutter is for. I mean why else would they invent one otherwise lol.” While others shared pictures of scissors for cutting pizzas.
