Fast-Food Quitted By Woman After Discovering An Old McDonald's Burger

Woman Decides To Quit Fast-Food After Witnessing What Happened To A McDonald’s Burger

When it comes to fast-food chains, we have all had our reservations at some point in life. However, the food is too yummy to wonder about what actually we are eating. The taste and texture of burgers keep us from thinking about what impact this food can have on our health. Before we know it, bingeing on fast food irreversibly damages our bodies. Here is a story of a woman who has sworn off fast food and she has very strong reasons behind this decision that she made. This woman named Megan Condry from Washington DC purchased 2 cheeseburgers from McDonald’s back in November 2017. One of those burgers still looks the same and it left her disgusted.

The Fast-Food Experiment

Megan Condry claims that after finishing off one burger, she threw the other one in the backseat of her car and thought that she’ll eat it later. She found the burger after a few days and noticed that it had not started to go bad. Noticing this, she decided to conduct an experiment to see how long the burgers could stay that way. Megan left the burger in the back of her wardrobe for 5 more years. Despite the fact that the burger became “rock hard”, to her surprise, it still looked the same. Megan was shocked to witness these results. She says that the burger has no smell, and it was so hard that it could break a window. “I want to know what it looks like on the inside, but I can’t see it” she says.

It was commented by a USA spokesperson that “Our burgers are made only with 100% USDA inspected beef. There are no preservatives or fillers in our patties and the only thing ever added is a touch of salt and pepper on the grill.” This experiment by Megan Condry however suggested otherwise. Getting these results, Megan was compelled to give up on fast food altogether.
