Apple Music is Apple’s streaming music service. It is similar to rival streaming services like Spotify, Amazon Music Unlimited, Google Play Music, Tidal, and others. However, app access is restricted to only a handful of iPhone users in Pakistan. Apple Music somewhat casts the same shadow as Spotify because of this little problem. But hey; where there’s a will, there’s a way. Here’s how to get Apple Music in Pakistan.

Apple Music gives you access to 50 million songs. Content can be streamed or downloaded for offline play – this process is quite similar to Netflix. Furthermore, there are song and genre-based radio stations available, along with the curated Beats 1 radio station.
With a subscription to Apple Music, you can access these songs, radio stations and playlists in the iOS Music app. You can also access your music from other devices signed in to Apple Music using the same Apple ID.
Note: A standard Apple Music subscription costs $9.99 per month on the West Coast. Slight price variations in other regions and territories shouldn’t come as a shock. Apple is still trying to make its services globally accessible.

To subscribe, open Apple Music App, or iTunes.

Step – 1
- In the Apple Music app or iTunes, tap or click For You.
- You can also go to apple.com to subscribe and listen to Apple Music.

Note: Apple Music isn’t a back-up service. Make sure to back up your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or PC, so that you have a copy of your music and other information if your device is ever replaced, lost, or damaged.
Step – 2
Start a trial, then choose a subscription type.
- To get started, tap or click the trial offer (one trial per person or family). Then choose an individual subscription, family subscription to share with up to six people, or student subscription.
- After you subscribe, you can change your subscription to a family, student, or individual plan.
Step – 3
Sign-in with your Apple ID.
- Sign in with the Apple ID and password that you use to make purchases. If you don’t have an Apple ID, choose Create New Apple ID, then follow the steps to create one.

Step – 4
Finally, confirm your details.
You might be asked to confirm your billing information and add a valid payment method. Once that’s done, tap or click Join.
If prompted, agree to the terms and conditions.
Extra | Listen To Apple Music On All Of Your Devices
You can listen to Apple Music on any device that’s signed in with your Apple ID. Just follow the steps below for your device. And if you want to access your music library across your devices, turn on Sync Library.
On your Mac or PC
- Open the Apple Music app or iTunes.
- In the menu bar at the top of your screen, choose Account > Sign In.
- Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
On your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Android device
- Open the Apple Music app and tap For You.
- In the upper-right corner, tap the photo icon.
- Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
On your Apple TV
- Go to Settings > Users and Accounts.
- Select Sign In. If there’s more than one user, select Add User.
- Sign in with your Apple ID and password.

The following issues arise when subscribing to Apple Music:
- Not available in your country
- Payment through PayPal, Apple Card or some other American payment system (not available in Pakistan).
The easiest, and perhaps the most straightforward way, is to buy Apple gift cards or vouchers from online Pakistani retailers. These vouchers are basically Apple Credits subject to region-by-region valuations.
After buying these gift cards or vouchers, proceed to the subscription payment window for Apple Music. Select the option for redeem a voucher | redeem your codes. Enter your voucher number in the space provided, and proceed towards confirming your transaction.
