13-Year-Old Kid Who Went Viral for Doing Two Jobs, Now Has a Food Stall

As a second job, Abdul Waris used to sell home cooked items on his bike.

Abdul Waris, a 13-year-old boy does two jobs to make ends meet for his family. The boy who dreams of achieving a good life for his family, works day and night. And it seems that his hard work is paying off, Abdul Waris now has a food stall.

The 13-year-old kid is the only bread winner of his family. His parents are handicapped and being the eldest of five siblings, the responsibility to earn solely now falls on his shoulders. He leaves for work at 11 in the morning and comes home at night around 9 pm.

 

After returning from the cloth market, he leaves home once again to sell his mother’s home cooked food and comes back at around 2 am. Initially, he started off by selling chai. He then sold gulab jamun, donuts, macaroni, and pizza bites on his silver bicycle.

Dialogue Pakistan reached out to him to share his story, and as the video went viral, Abdul Waris received a lot of love and support from Karachites.

Now, Abdul Waris owns his food stall and can be found selling different food items in the Paposh Nagar area of Karachi, at Khilafat Roundabout.

 

The 13-year-old is working hard for his family for the past six years and wishes to educate all his siblings so they have a better and brighter future ahead.
