Hania Amir is a Pakistani singer, actress, and model who has been in showbiz since 2016. We’ve all known that being a part of the entertainment industry means you’re always in the public eye. But the Dil Ruba actress has probably been a part of more controversies than the number of years of her acting career.
She started her career with the role of Palwasha in Janaan for which she was also nominated for the Best Supporting Actress award at the Lux Style Awards in 2017. She has since been winning the hearts of her fans with phenomenal performances.
Hania won the awards for Best Television Sensation Female and Most Stylish Actress (Film) at Hum Style Awards in 2018. This was after her appearance as Alishba in Phir Wohi Mohabbat.

The classic friend-zoning
We had been seeing singer Asim Azhar and Hania together for several years. Not only were fans shipping the two of them together, but their adorable pictures together also suggested they were more than just friends.
Years went by, and it became a known fact that they were dating- and for several years neither of them spoke up. But recently Hania Amir cleared the air and revealed that Asim is nothing but a great friend.
This upset the singers’ fans and they were felt like the ‘couple‘ played them. And fans, as a joke, started a protest- justice for Asim Azhar’. But the Superstar actress dealt with the whole situation with humor.

What’s with the ‘Kylie Jenner’ Lips?
Recently, the 23-year-old shared pictures of herself on social media, and fans noticed something different. Her lips were swollen and visibly bigger, so they reacted how anyone would- with questions.
The Pyaar Kahani once again cleared the air telling everyone it was just the filter that made her lips look like that. But that obviously did not stop the trolls and netizens are still speculating how truthful her clarification was.
Happy Engagement, Hania!
The Ishqiya star had been ignoring her Twitter notifications not knowing what was going on. When she finally went online her feed was filled with ‘mangni Mubarak Hania!’ [Happy Engagement hania].
We later found out that it was some other Hania, with a decent amount of followers on her Twitter account, who got engaged. And fans confused her to be Hania Amir.

Acne-Shaming
Say what you may about the Band Toh Baje Ga actress, but she was extremely brave when she shared her experience with her fans. If anything, this move brought her fans closer to Hania.
While acne is a pretty common skin problem that people, at one point or another, have to deal with, actor Yasir Hussain was indecent and well, unfunny with her remarks about Hania.
In a Q&A session on his Instagram stories, a fan asked the Lahore Se Aagey actor to describe Hania Amir in one word. His reply to this was one word- ‘danedaar’.
For those of you who don’t know what that means it’s basically a derogatory term that suggests a person is prone to acne. But Hania, being the type of person she is, sent out a savage reply to Yasir Hussain.
The queen of friend-zoning
Asim Azhar was not the only male celebrity to be friend-zoned by the Visaal actress. During the early years of her career, Hania was seen straight-up ‘vibin’ with Danyal Zafar.
Again, the cutesy photos and gestures made fans wonder if they were a couple. But after removing a few pictures and *cough* erasing some tracks, Hania posted a ‘friend appreciation post’ for the singer.

Hello, privacy? have you introduced yourself to Hania?
It seems like Hania was pretty naive as to how the public would take her ‘jokes’ back in 2017. During a plane ride, Hania was taking selfies of herself and a man sitting behind her was trying to get out of the shot.
Instead of giving the man his privacy and leaving him alone, she purposefully took a selfie without blurring or cropping out his face. She then proceeded to make a video and making fun of how he has been trying to get out of her camera’s view.
People were obviously enraged, and Hania responded by taking the video and pictures down and apologizing publicly.
