8-Year-Old Girl Killed in Crocodile Attack In Sukkur

Tragedy struck a family in Sindh as an eight-year-old girl went missing near Sukkur’s Nara Canal in a crocodile attack. According to sources, the girl was attacked by a crocodile, which the police have confirmed as well!

The incident took place in Sukkur’s Naral Canal, where there have been many sightings of the vicious reptile. The people around the area, where the girl disappeared, claimed to have seen a 16-foot-long crocodile attack and devour the girl.

According to the girl’s father, Gulbahar Khaskheli, she had gone to the river near the Taj Farm village in Salehpat. The girl was had gone there to wash clothes with her friends. It was then that a crocodile suddenly attacked her and then dragged her into the water.

“We called rescue officials and the police but they reached the site six hours after the incident,” Khaskheli stated.

The little girl’s body is yet to be found. The child’s family has requested the government to help them find her.

“No one is looking for our daughter. We are doing it ourselves,” said the mother. “I just want my daughter and nothing else.”

According to the Sindh Wildlife Department, there are more than 300 crocodiles of different species present in the canal. The Nara Canal is a delta channel that is built on the left side of the Indus River in Sindh. Stay posted for more updates on this story.
