9 Year Old Pakistani Girl Sets New World Record in Chemistry

Nine-year old Pakistani girl, Natalia Najam has broken the Guinness World Record for the fastest arrangement of the Periodic Table of Elements.

After setting a new record in just 2 minutes and 42 seconds on July 18, Natalia became the fastest and youngest person ever to arrange all chemical elements of the periodic table.

The previous record was held by an Indian economics professor, Meenakshi Agarwal who completed the same task in 2 minutes and 49 seconds. Natalia broke this record by 7 seconds.

After setting the record, the young girl screamed with joy as the judges gave her a resounding thumbs up.

Her father, Hasan Najam said that Natalia has not received formal schooling and has been educated at home.

The young Pakistani girl hopes to inspire children all around the world, especially girls to continue making strides in science through her achievements and pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).

Many Pakistanis on social media hailed her achievement calling her “Pakistan’s young scientist” and an inspiration for young children.

Natalia Najam is making us all proud and we are glad to see young minds like hers reaching for their goals in the field of science.
