Rihanna’s presence shifted the mood in the stands, and West Indies fans began shouting chants for their side. She herself was pretty much involved in the game and was very vocal in her support for Caribbean players.
Unfortunately, this support didn’t result in a win. It did however prompt the Windies batsmen to do their best. At one point, it looked like the men in brown could take down Sri Lanka with a come-from-behind win.
Sadly, back-to-back wickets of Pooran and Allen cost them the game.
