Here’s Why “Jo Tu Chahay” Hasn’t Been Airing For Weeks Now

Hum TV’s drama Jo Tu Chahay has not been airing for the past few weeks. The serial’s episodes are also missing from Hum TV’s YouTube channel.

The drama was originally titled Kun Faya Kun which raised eyebrows. Followed by a notice from Pakistan electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) the drama serial changed its name.

So what did they do this time, that the show hasn’t been airing for a few weeks? Is this due to another conflict?

Following the notice from PEMRA the serial changed the title on some six-seven episodes that had been aired so far.

The new title “Jo Tu Chahay” is just a derivative of the previous Arabic verse. Despite the settlement of the previous conflict, the drama has not aired since the 10th episode, leaving fans waiting.

It’s been two weeks since the serial’s recent episode aired. In fact, none of the drama’s episodes are visible on the network’s official Youtube channel anymore either.

According to Entertainment.pk, their sources said the drama will not be airing tonight either.

Furthermore, the drama will be airing from next week on Thursday. So far, Hum Network has made no official confirmation or announcement in this regard.

Jo Tu Chahay has been penned by Alif Allah Aur Insan writer Qaisra Hayat and directed by Ilyas Kashmiri. Jo Tu Chahay cast Imran Abbas, Alizeh Shah, and Zarnish Khan in central roles. The drama also stars Azra Mansoor Hussain, Naima Khan, Syed Mohsin Raza Gillani, and Nargis Rasheed.
