Pakistani actress Hina Khwaja Bayat expressed her disappointment in PIA and Pakistan Railways after facing inconvenience during her travels on Thursday.
It all happened when Hina Khwaja, along with her fellow co-stars, was traveling to Bahawalpur from Karachi for the filming of a new drama serial on Thursday, December 12. Apparently their flight got canceled at the last minute due to weather changes. However, no prior announcement was made and the staff members weren’t cooperative either.
Enraged by the inconvenience, Hina Khwaja, took to social media and posted a video of herself and her co-stars, including Rubina Ashraf, Junaid Khan, Mehar Bano and Sohail Sameer. The celebrities were frustrated by the incident and were waiting for their bags to be returned for almost an hour.
Hina expressed her disappointment in PIA’s services and criticized the authorities for their negligence and non-professional behaviour.
She wrote:
“PIA – great people to fly with…..once upon a time!
Today ….. Last minute cancellation, no announcement on the PA system, no effort in helping passengers to rebook, no alternatives available, an hour later still waiting for our bags to be returned….and the staff tells us “we are waiting too”!
This is what happens when you have a monopoly!”

That wasn’t the end of it
The crew then decided to go via Pakistan Railways, but unfortunately, this proved to be an even worse experience for our celebrities. The train they booked was “Business Class”, however, as anyone who has traveled by these trains knows, they lacked basic facilities such as bulbs and washrooms.
Bayat again used social media to express her anger at the dismal state of affairs. She lashed out at Pakistan Railways for making tall claims when in reality, things are different.
