The Punjab Nahi Jaungi actress was minding her own business speaking out about the world on the possible brink of WWIII with the assassination of a key Iranian military man General Soleimani by the United States.

As soon as she tweeted this, out of the woodwork came Amir Liaquat to bring up how the ‘Billi’ bombshell’s statement was not ‘in line with Pakistan’s policy’.
“Taghma-e-Imtiaz ka ye mtlb nahi kay item girl imtiazi biyanat dain. Inhein Pakistan ki policy kay sath chalna chahye (Taghma-e-Imtiaz doesn’t mean an item girl can give biased statements. She should go with Pakistan’s policy)”

Mehwish Hayat didn’t hold back this time and schooled the ex-Pakistan Television host on the ‘democratic right to have an opinion’. Meanwhile, she also called out Amir Liaquat for singling her out over personal reasons.

That’s not all the Load Wedding actress brought up the last ‘Amir Laiquat vs Mehwish Hayat’ feud.
Previously the Alam Online host threatened to sue Mehwish Hayat, Fahad Mustafa, and Nabeel Qureshi for featuring a character based on him in their film Load Wedding.

Amir alleged that the depiction of the character based on him amounted to defamation. He was particularly critical of Mehwish Hayat for ‘not speaking up when a character based on him was used in the movie‘. He didn’t reach out to the film’s director and writer in this regard.
