Mere Pass Tum Ho actress Ayeza Khan has opened up how hard it was to accept the main character’s name in the hit drama. if you are wondering why this seemingly minor detail was a huge deal for the superstar actress, well, here’s a hint. Her real life husband is also named Danish.
In an interview when Ayeza Khan was asked about the name of ‘Danish’, played by superstar Humayun Saeed, the Koi Chand Rakh opened about the reservations she had about the name.
‘Danish’, was the name of Humayun Saeed’s character. The problem stems from the fact that Ayeza Khan’s husband’s name is Danish Taimoor.

The Yaariyan actress said;
“In the beginning, I had some reservations over the name of Danish in drama serial MPTH because it is the name of my husband in real life.”

The actress even raised the question.
“I raised questions over why Danish?”
The actress was convinced by the explanation that this drama serial will be a ‘beautiful story between Danish and Mehwish‘. So she then felt ‘alright, we’ll stick with Danish’.
She even laughed about how she was so used to saying Danish that it felt like an overdose of the name at work and at home.

Ayeza revealed that she also faced some difficulty over addressing the character ‘Danish’ as ‘tum‘ in anger. This was because she is used to addressing her husband Danish Taimoor ‘Aap’.
As for the hit drama she appeared in, it has received mixed reviews. All the hype positive or negative did lead the drama serial to earn big bucks. The last episode was even screened in theaters.
Now that Ayeza just wrapped up MPTH, she will be gracing the screen in Thora Sa Haq opposite Imran Abbas.
