Just recently Jemima Goldsmith shared a tongue-in-cheek poster about Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi and herself. Yet after facing much backlash on social media, Jemima took down her tweet about the poster.
Some people pointed out that the filmi poster is vilifying the First Lady of Pakistan, a situation that Jemima once faced herself as Imran Khan’s wife. Perhaps she realized that her tweet was in poor taste, even if she did not intend to hurt anyone’s feelings.

The pressures of being a celebrity
With this year’s sensationalized coverage of ‘Megixt‘, Jemima Goldsmith opened up about the struggle of being married to a ‘national hero’. She was always considered as an outsider, and that alone took a toll on her marriage with Imran Khan.
The journalist brought up some cartoons that poked fun at her relationship with Imran Khan and Pakistan. It wasn’t done in good humor. Perhaps this is why she realized her error in sharing that filmi poster.
There seems to be a genuine lack of understanding, exacerbated by tribal instinct, which makes people on both sides (Muslims & Jews/ Left & Right) ) deaf to/ unempathetic about what might be offensive to the other.

It seems that people have assumed that being on social media means that they have acquired “a license to kill”. Everyone has taken it as a duty upon themselves, to drag anyone on to the road, who so ever it may be.
All those who thrash others with their small brains & long tongues, have they ever looked into themselves, who & what they are??
