More and more artists are coming forward with creative and innovative ways of spending productive time in quarantine. Areesh Zubair is one of the people who are ready to take on a new perspective in their line of work.

Areesh Zubair is a photographer with lots of different photoshoots in his portfolio; From lifestyle to fashion, corporate and travel. Last year the photographer showcased 8 years worth of his work in which he depicted and represented all four provinces of Pakistan.

The Lahori photographer runs the page The Labels on his Facebook. He is currently making rounds taking pictures of people in their balconies.

His aim is to focus on the quarantine lifestyle and promote social distancing, and the project is called Duur Se Portrait.

I am doing this balcony portrait series, In which I’ll go to people’s homes to take their portrait from the street. While they are on their balcony [or] terrace.

Areesh also mentioned that he’s following all the necessary protocols and guidelines to protect himself during the viral pandemic.
